Introduction to Sunlight (vol 1): Live Reading and Concept Art Gallery by Ricky Horne Jr.

November 2023, Los Angeles, CA - Writer, filmmaker, photographer Ricky J. Horne invited The Joi of Art to curate a pop-up art gallery featuring concept photography by Horne of the upcoming Afrofuturist novel, Introduction to Sunlight. The private evening in Los Angeles included a silent auction of over two dozen concept artworks and Horne performed many chapters of his captivating story of tragedy and triumph set in the darkness of a hip-hop dystopia called ‘mud.’
